The Wrexham Mosque in the UK is launching a special Ramadan donation campaign to promote Islamic charity agencies in the country. As part of this campaign, the mosque will invite one Muslim charity body every Friday to promote their services and encourage donations from the community.
This initiative is a great way to promote Islamic charity organizations and raise awareness about the importance of giving back to the community during the holy month of Ramadan. By inviting different organizations each week, the mosque hopes to provide a platform for a wide range of charities and encourage greater engagement from the community.
WEEK 1 : AFRICA | WAFA RELIEF
WAFA Relief was established in Manchester (2003) to work for a variety of charitable causes. The primary focus of our work is to help those communities most deprived in Africa.

WEEK 2 : YEMEN | NIDA ALKHAYRIN
Nida’ Alkhayrin Foundation charity is based in UK and is operating in Yemen and MiddleEast. Its main activities is to distribute food to poor families and people in need and to provide appropriate shelter for them.

WREXHAM MOSQUE FOODBANK
Wrexham Mosque Foodbank is a charitable initiative run by the Muslim community in Wrexham, North Wales. The foodbank was established to help address the issue of food poverty and insecurity in the local community, particularly among vulnerable and marginalized groups.
The foodbank provides food parcels to individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet or who are facing other financial difficulties. The food parcels contain a variety of non-perishable food items, including tinned goods, pasta, rice, and cereal, as well as fresh produce such as fruits and vegetables.
